Birthdays & Hospital Anniversary

Last year we celebrated G's birthday on our honeymoon, so this year we brought a little island "spirit" to his bday celebration! When we were in St. Lucia we discovered the delicious-ness of a banana daquiri. Banana's are one of St. Lucia's major exports so they were FRESH and each drink had a whole banana in it.... you can imagine the calories! But, we had been talking about trying to make our own since we got back from our honeymoon and what better time than G's birthday?! These were pretty great :) {And we HAD to have the fun margarita glasses to drink them out of!}

I only took one picture of his actual birthday "party" and it had zero people in it. Figures.

We also celebrated William's birthday and got to meet his girlfriend, Meredith, while she was in town from Chicago. We spent the day by the pool just enjoying the good company... and possibly a good drink {or two}!

The hospital I work for celebrated its 10 year anniversary. I got to help decorate and make some adorable center pieces.... we spent the day calling my boss "the bride" and I must say, she did an excellent job coordinating and planning! Everything turned out great!

I've come to the conclusion that I should probably invest in some authentic cowboy boots... yes, I live in Texas and DO NOT own a pair of cowboy boots. Overall, it was a fabulous month filled with lots of celebrating! Until next time...
